The third time is the charm, right? Ali went in for her 3rd set of tubes this morning! (Click here to see how tiny she looked last time!)
We had to be there at 6:40 am. Super early! They do the surgeries by the age of the child, so youngest first, I think we've always been first! Which is nice because she can't eat breakfast.
Apparently she is so comfortable in the surgery center that she felt as though she could just take herself to the operating room. Crazy girl! All she wanted to do was walk around.
She did great with the gas they gave her. She didn't even have to get an IV. She wakes up from it so well, it even surprises the doctors and nurses. She acts like nothing has happened. We even got to leave early because she did so great!
So today she got 2 new tubes. The doctor said the left ear tube (the one we thought was still in) had fallen out by itself, and the ear looked great and was draining by itself! He put a new tube in anyways though because the right ear needed one and he was afraid that come winter she would need one anyways. I'm all about getting it all done at once! He's a great doctor!
