26 Weeks

This week sweet baby girl is the size of a head of lettuce.  Her eyes are forming this week and she'll start to grow eyelashes. :)
On a side note, I cut up last weeks cauliflower and took it to a family dinner.  My sister, Annaka, asked if she was eating the 'baby cauliflower'.  I have to admit it's strange cutting up the food after taking a 'baby' picture with it!

Moab!

We loaded up the camping trailer, atv, dirt bike and family and headed down to Moab for 6 days!  Stuart's brother Michael, sisters Helen and Heather and her family came.  It was tons of fun!!!

Ali wore my gloves for a bit...she really loves gloves these days!

We went on a trail that was nasty.  It was too hard to be fun.  We're all glad to say that we did it once, but that's enough! :)

The views were amazing though!

These cliffs are SO SO high!

Stuart was his usual amazing self and did all of the difficult parts.  He was nicknamed 'Ironman' because he was fearless.  How would it be to be amazing at everything you try?!?

After riding the trail I understand this sign... and I also admit that I am not an expert with endurance!

On the way back we stopped at Gemini Bridges.  They are amazing!  Can you see me in the picture?

...Moab...

We hit sacrament meeting in Moab, and Ali got her own shoes on.  I guess she just couldn't decide!

She was pretty proud of herself!

Snuggling with Daddy!

On Sunday afternoon Helen, Michael, Stuart, Ali and I hiked to the Delicate Arch in Arches National Park.

I realized I am in terrible shape.  Michael was kind and took my backpack so I didn't die.

We made it!  Don't mind my flushed face.

So pretty!

On the way back we went off the trail and found some cool quartz rocks.

More Moab

Me and Ali 4-wheeling around the camp ground.

Ali watching videos of herself on the computer... have I mentioned how vain she is?!?

Eating sand, because that's what 2 year olds do.

On Saturday Ali and I took a break from 4-wheeling and everyone else went and did Hell's Revenge.

Michael's 4-wheeler wheel got stuck in a crack and ultimately flipped his machine over and sent him falling backwards.  He was very blessed to be able to get away from his atv and not get crushed.

His knees took the fall, poor guy.

His atv after the crash.  He was able to pop the fender back up and take the bent metal off and the machine works perfectly!

Stuart took this shot on Saturday when I wasn't there... so I'm not sure where it is, but it's beautiful!

The group, you can see Michael's bandaged knees.  Thank goodness Heather is always prepared for injuries!!!

Moab, continued.

Having a little breakfast in our trailer, I love how Ali is smiling at Stuart!

This little girly spent a lot of time in the dirt.

Ali sporting her new bike helmet!

All ready to go 4-wheeling!

Stuart and his brother Michael.

Ali got to ride in the side by side that was driven expertly by Aunt Heather. :)

There were some awesome views and scary cliffs!

Ali fell asleep in the side by side, poor little broken necked child.

This was a cool tunnel that went through the mountain, we got to walk through it and the view on the other side was amazing!

Me and Ali!

Stuart's dirt bike tires were old and they ended up cracking.  We had to head back and took it into Moab to get some new tires.  We are lucky they held air as long as they did!

We had a blast in Moab and can't wait to go back!!!

Week 25

Little girly is the size of a cauliflower this week!  She decided to give us all a scare and try to come early!!!  As we were driving home from Moab (vacation posts to come) we got a message from our birthmom telling us that she was headed to the ER.  A few hours later we heard from her again telling us that the doctor gave her a shot to stop labor, and that everything was fine.  What a rough few hours though!  The hospital checked them both out and they are good now.  We are so thankful for a smart birthmom who went to the doctor when something felt wrong!  She's taking such great care of our little girl!
According to the doctor, little Miss Sassy is 2lbs and growing well!  We are excited to meet her, but we are happy to wait a few months!  Keep cooking baby!

Week 24

Week 24 is being brought to you from Moab!  Yes, we are camping and 4-wheeling/dirt-biking for a week in beautiful Moab!
Apparently little baby girl is the size of a cantalope this week, which seems like a pretty big jump from last week to me.  Maybe I just bought too big of a cantalope! :)
