Christmas!!

Yes, I am FINALLY putting Christmas on my blog... I am such a slacker! We had a great Christmas break and got to spend it with lots of family! Here are a few pictures of Christmas morning... I LOVE Christmas! You can just ask Stuart... I get so worked up and excited! He could get me dirt and I would be thrilled!

This is the first gift I had to open...Stuart is quite the gift-wrapper! :) Stuart totally surprised me by buying me a kitchen table!!!! We have been using my mom's old one, but I am THRILLED to be getting one of my own. Stuart actually had this one all picked out (I helped pick it out, but thought it was for my Dad), but there is more to this story....I found out with the next gift...

This gift was a furniture catalog. Stuart actually has a buddy who can get furniture at wholesale. He told Stuart this 2 days before Christmas, the tables were 1/2 the price! It is insane, so I got to pick one out of here that I actually like better, plus I get bar-stools! We're getting them ordered this week! Horray!

continued...

This is a framed antique map of Argentina (where he served his mission). I gave him the map for his b-day last year, now that it's framed he has it hanging in his office.
This was Stuart's big surprise... (notice they were hidden in the laundry room) GOLF CLUBS! Stuart has been playing with some golf clubs that we got at a garage sale, so it was time for some new ones!

This is Morty's gift. He was actually REALLY excited about it... he even tried to open it by himself!

This is a little globe Stuart got for his office also... it is made of marble.

Leather Jackets

This is Stuart's "special" look! We taught him how to do the buttons...

Stuart's dad has been working over in Afganistan. He picked up these very nice leather coats for Stuart and his brother (I also got one... but didn't take a picture). They were cheap and very well made! Thanks Dad!

Gingerbread Houses!

Well, we spent most of the Christmas break with Stuart's family. One night we made gingerbread houses. What can I say... we won't make a profession of it! :)

A few more...

Here are just a few more random pictures... We had Dallas's and Mom's names for my side this year... This is the wall hanging I made for my mom.
And of course the yearly calendar that makes me want to pull my hair out! :)

Dallas got the traditional fruit cake!

And some pretty little clips and such for his long, flowy hair! Actually I really gave him some opera music he was wanting... but it wasn't here yet.
