At the Table

Ali ate at the table with us the other night, yes we ate PB&J, I did make a delicious dinner, but our grill caught on fire and the zuchinni bake I made didn't thicken.  It was a rough night for dinner.
Ali felt pretty cool eating at the table though!  I got some old lunch trays from when I worked at Ellis Elementary and I usually take them camping, but it worked great for her to eat off of!

24th of July

We celebrated the 24th of July with the Bytheway family and hit the parade at Willow Park! (pictured above: Ali, Lydia, Sesaly, Howie)

Sesaly and Hadley don't like the sounds of the sirens.  It's hilarious, they wanted to stay out there for the candy though!

It was a fun parade, we had great seats in the shade... it's definately worth it to go put your chairs out the night before!

Big Shoes!

Ali was trying to walk around in Daddy's shoes, she's feeling fairly confident in her walking skills I guess!  Her feet have actually hit a bit of a growth-spurt, she was wearing a size 4 at the beginning of the summer and now all those shoes are too small!  Although, she did only grow to a size 5 in toddlers, not a size 12 in men's. :)

Nap

Stuart went to put Ali down for a nap today, about 15 minutes later Ali came walking down the hall.... but no Stuart.  This is what I found in Ali's room:

Ali must have put Stuart down for a nap! :)  She made sure he had all of the stuffed animals he would need too.

Happy Birthday Stuart!

Stuart turned 34 back on the 16th of July.  His birthday was in the middle of the week, so he went to work and Ali, Howie, Lydia and I took him some cookies as a treat!

Ali got to decorate his present, she only nibbled on the crayons. :)

 

She was then kind enough to help him open it!

I was lame this year and only wrapped one gift for Stuart.  The other gift has a fun story with it though, so I will share it. 
Stuart wanted a tool from Sears and on his birthday I went to go get it.  We had found it online for $18, but didn't want to pay shipping.  I was watching two of my sisters girls and we all loaded up and went to the store.  I asked for some help to find the tool and we found some, but not for $18... they were $30.  I thought, whatever, I'm here with 3 kids... let's just get it and go.  So I went up to buy it.  The employee who had been helping me said he had found the one I was looking for online and that he would go see if they had it in the basement.
He was gone for about 10 minutes when another employee said, "Do you like the one you picked out?"  I told him yes it was just a different handle.  He then told me I could just take it.  He would warranty it out and I could have it for free.
So, yes, I got Stuart a free birthday gift!  What a lucky guy!

Baby Please!

We bought some wipes for Stuart's sister who just had a baby and the box was sitting in the kitchen so we wouldn't forget to take it to her.  Ali was obsessed with the picture of the baby on the box and kept kissing it.

Ali is going to love being a big-sister (when it  happens)!

If Only...

If only our poor old dog had a bed....

Oh wait... he does!  Ali just takes it over from time to time.  In all fairness she does sit on it and call him to come over and be with her.  She's more than happy to share his bed with him. :)

I love where our house is!  This was the view from our driveway a few nights ago!  Beautiful!

Happy 4th of July!

We watched the USU fireworks at the apartments Whit and Paul manage.  Ali 'oohed' and 'ahhed' at all of them!

Whitney loves to light fireworks.. in fact she lit them all!

Can you see the squirrel up on the house?  It came and visited a few times!

Redneck Waterslide

 Stuart's family rented out the redneck waterslide in Wellsville on July 3rd, it was a blast!

Ali went down with Stuart and thought it was a blast!  We went down as a family, Whitney took pictures with her camera, and I don't have them yet.

Yep, she can get onto the ottoman all by herself.  And apparently laptops make great seats!

Stuart's New Toy

Stuart got a dirt bike, can you tell he's happy about it?  He's already had a bunch of fun on it and rides around the neighborhood.  He's kind to his worried wife and accommodates her by wearing his helmet.  Thanks honey!

First Camping Trip

We broke in the new trailer and went camping a few weekends ago.  We went for just 1 night to Bear Lake with the Bytheways and the Holens.  We had a blast!

We were in charge of breakfast, Ali and Daddy cooking!

We hit the 'beach' the next day but the water was freezing!  So, we moved up to the warm sand and hung out there.

Ali of course had to sample the sand. :)
