We have been working with Ali to learn some new signs. One of the signs we have been doing is 'Duck'. You use your pointer and middle fingers to make the top of the beak and your thumb to make the lower beak. It's become one of Ali's favorite signs. The other day she was looking through one of her books and proved what a smart child she is!

She not only signed duck, but then pointed at the duck! Yay Ali!!!
And then she was kind enough to repeat the entire process so that I could take pictures! :)

When I first read your post's title I thought you were about to write something about getting a duck, or maybe Stuart shooting one and you guys were going to eat it. But, this is good too :)
Sorry to disappoint Helen! I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume we won't be killing or eating any ducks in the near future! :)
