Family Pictures

My sweet Sis-in-Law Emily took these beautiful pictures of our family while we were up in Jackson Hole back in August!  I'm absolutely in LOVE with them!  (Can't wait to add another little person to these pictures!)

Ali loves to have Stuart and me kiss!  She pulls our heads together and then smiles big when we kiss!  I'm so happy that Emily got a picture of this!

Ali also loves to 'beep' her nose.  Ha ha!  Glad we got some pictures of her doing it!

Nighttime Cocktail

This was Ali's little medicine and milk cocktail the other night.  Another ear infection!  Grrrr....

Stowaway

Stuart is the Young Men's President in our ward, so he goes on a LOT of camp-outs.

We miss him like crazy when he's gone!

 

I think Ali fits nicely into his back-pack!  Although I don't fit and I really don't want to be left home alone, so I'll keep her with me! :)

Duck

We have been working with Ali to learn some new signs.  One of the signs we have been doing is 'Duck'.  You use your pointer and middle fingers to make the top of the beak and your thumb to make the lower beak.  It's become one of Ali's favorite signs.  The other day she was looking through one of her books and proved what a smart child she is!

She not only signed duck, but then pointed at the duck!  Yay Ali!!!

And then she was kind enough to repeat the entire process so that I could take pictures! :)

Uncle Matt

So Uncle Matt was over last night and we had some pizza.  We also had a dessert pizza and as soon as Uncle Matt got a piece guess who was at his feet wanting to be held?

Yup, Aliyah.

She would sign 'please' and then Uncle Matt would give her a piece.

Then Ali would reward Uncle Matt with a snuggle.  Cute little manipulator!  She is actually SUPER snuggly lately. 
The other thing she has been doing like crazy is saying 'hi' to everyone she sees.  And she doesn't just say it once, she says it until they look at her or we are no longer by them.  It's cute because people are actually understanding her and come over to talk to her.  At this point she usually won't say anything else and sometimes gets a little bit shy.  Friendly little thing!

Oh Boy!

Guess who found the toilet?

This is what Aliyah did while I showered the other day.  She got that little box from the garbage can.  I'm just glad it wasn't one of her toys or a book (or really anything I had to keep)!  With the help of Stuart's toothbrush I was able to just flush this down. (Ha ha!  Just kidding!)

But when I got out of the shower, she was back in my bedroom just as innocent as can be.  Good thing she is so cute!

We Are Pleased To Announce...

...that we are looking to expand our little family!  We are getting set up to adopt again through LDS Family Services.  Please spread the word!  We can't wait to add another little one!!!

I Have No Idea...

Stuart was tickling Ali the other night and she grabbed this pen and stuck it in her mouth!  I have no idea why!  She was giggling around the pen and it was pretty cute!  It kind of reminds me of when they used to give people sticks to bite down on.  Ha ha!

Giggly Girl!

Man, this girl can GIGGLE!  She was 'hiding' behind me and then would peek around my shoulder and just laugh and laugh!

Wellsville Parade

We hit the Wellsville parade this morning with the Bytheways and the Heatons.  It was a very long impressive parade!  The only bad part was the guns they kept firing off with blanks.  It was SO loud!

We took the Ipad for Ali as entertainment in the car, and when we got home she had fallen asleep with it on her face!  Crazy little girl!

All By Herself...

Ali loves to do laundry as I've said before.  So, I admit that sometimes I just plunk her down with a pile and let her entertain herself while I'm getting something else done.  Such was the case the other day when I looked over and this is what I saw!  She got her head through Stuart's shorts all by herself.  As you can see by the picture she was pretty proud of herself!  What a cheesy little smile!
