Fun with the 4-wheelers!

Here we are enjoying the 4-wheelers at Bear Lake. We went on some awesome rides and saw some beautiful views... but of course, I forgot my camera. Oh well, there's always next year. For some reason I didn't get a lot of pictures of people on the 4-wheelers... maybe it was because I was so busy riding mine! :) Stuart and I bought our 4-wheelers last year, so this was the first year we got to take them up! This was the first year Stuart and I brought ours up, they were tons of fun! The first picture is of Celeste, then next is of Stuart drinking soda and riding on his 4-wheeler... what talent! Then there is a picture of him jumping his. Then Justin riding through the stinky mud and Becca and David posing on one!

Bear Lake!

Here are a few of us enjoying Bear Lake. We go up every summer with the Brower Family for a week. It's a blast! First in these pictures we have Catherine and Heather sunning themselves on a tube, then we have Catherine and Mason ready for a tube ride with Stuart leading them out to sea. Next we have Celeste trying to get tan, then comes Mason and Grandpa. And last, but not least, we have Helen showing us her love-affair with Grapefruit while sitting in the nasty warm water.

The Boys...

Well, as usual, we have bad luck with vehicles at Bear Lake. This year it

was Michael and Justin's turn. Justin's truck broke down on the way to return the wave-runners. Michaels got water in the fuel pump. This is a picture of the manly men with their blowdryer trying to dry out the parts! It's a very serious job.

Kids Enjoying Bear Lake!

Here are a bunch of the kids enjoying Bear Lake... I'm not sure if I have a picture of all of them. Enjoy! Jack and Nate

A few more of the kids... Kaden, Kate, David & Nate, Kaden and Elise (I have no idea how to spell her name... sorry!)

More Nieces & Nephews

Here some more pictures of the cousins! David, Becca, Andee, and Madalyn.

Stuart's Injury

Well, Stuart had an overnighter with the scouts this past weekend and he had a small injury.

He was leading one of the horses when it stumbled and then as it tried to catch itself, it stepped on Stuarts heel. This was WITH his hiking boot on! Then he continued to hike the rest of the 4 mile hike. Ouch!

Stuart's Jeep!

This is Stuart's new vehicle. He LOVES it! I have to admit that I love to drive it! Right now it's in the shop getting a new transmission. We'll have it back this week hopefully. It's so fun to take the top off of it and drive it around! Stuart has been working on a pully system in the garage to take the top on and off. It's really very heavy. So, hopefully it will be really easy to take the top off and on! I'll put some photos on of it without the top soon.

FAMILY!

Here are some pictures of some of our family that we have been having tons of fun with lately! These first two are of Jaq and Blake. In the first picture, Jaq might have had too much to drink! Good thing Blake was there to guide him home on his tractor!

A few more photos of people we know and love: Blake looking like a statue, Mom being happy, Jaq being adorable in cute Lauryn's arms, and Heidi and Sesaly being crazy!

Here's some more photos of family. Here we have: Whitney working hard, Jaq being cute, Stuart looking HOT, Annaka looking adorable, and Paul looking sleepy!

Surgery Update

First of all, I would like to thank everyone that was so kind to me during my surgery. This picture is of some of the flowers and cards that were sent to me. I would like to thank Whit for dinner (even though she was out of town) and the flowers. Thanks to mom for the flowers, lunch and picking up my perscription. Thanks to Stuart of course, for putting up with me, taking care of me, and the beautiful roses! :) And thanks to everyone for all the supportive emails, phone calls and prayers.
The surgery went well. My nurses were so kind and considerate about my feelings. I cried all the way to the hospital, and during all of the pre-op stuff. But, once the nurse got my IV in (she even numbed my hand) I did ok. I had to wait a little bit for the room, since they had a contamination problem, but once I was in the room, it all went very smoothly. They just gave me a small dose of anathesia - so I didn't have to have a breathing tube or any of that. But it was enough for me not to remember any of it. One of the nurses in the operating room used to be my visiting teacher, so that was very nice to know someone in there. When I woke up, I was still in the operating room, but they were just cleaning me up. I was up and walking within a half hour, then I got to go home about an hour later. They gave me some lovely pills called Vicodin. They make me sleepy, but they sure help out with the pain.
I also got my results from my biopsy back today. It was benign. No cancer or pre-cancer. It was a fibrosis. So, that is good news. I'm very happy that this whole ordeal is over and that everything is going well. Thanks again for everything! I really appreciate all the love and support!

Surgery

Hey everyone, I just thought I would write a little update of what is going on with us. I've recently gone in to the doctor to have a lump in my breast checked out. I had it checked back 6 years ago and my doctor told me it was just a gland. Come to find out it is not a gland. Stupid doctor. Anyways, the surgeon thinks it is a fibrousis (spelling?) lump. So, no big deal. But, just to be sure he wants to take it out and check it, then if (or when, thanks to genetics) I get more they won't be worried about them unless they look different.
Needless to say, I am going in for surgery on Wednesday, April 23. I am very nervous, as most of you could guess. But, Stuart gave me a wonderful blessing and I am feeling much better about the whole procedure. I am lucky in the fact that they will put me all the way out. As scary as it is to be put to sleep, I feel better knowing that I will have no recolection of the events.
Anyways, just thought I would let everyone know all the fun stuff happening at the Brower home!

8th Grade Talent Show

So, recently Heidi was in her 8th Grade Talent show. We had a dress rehersal earlier in the week and I saw this little guy doing his "talent". He has a ski-pole in his hand, and well, you have to watch it to truely appreciate it. I know it's mean to put this on here, but it's hilarious. You have to watch the whole thing though. Enjoy!

Easter 2008

Happy Easter! Here is Stuart and Celeste and the cute little egg we found! :)

Easter Egg Hunt!

Here we are heading out to our Easter egg hunt. Andrew (Annie's friend), Annaka and Mom (yes, that is her with the retarded arm). Mom helped Morty find an egg, which he carried around for a while. Then Paul thought it would be funny to throw a burr in Annaka's hair....

Easter egg "hunting". We just threw all of the easter eggs off the back of the 4-wheeler out in the field. :) The Easter Bunny was lazy this year! So, it was more of an easter egg gather! Jaq was very excited about his little egg!

Easter Eggs!

Here we all are dying Easter eggs. It was rather exciting! Heather won the award for getting all of hers done very fast!

:) Sesaly thought they looked good enough to eat!

Here are the eggs that Celeste dyed for the family. Yes, that's right... I did a tribute to old Mexico! Enjoy!

Here are the Bytheway's and some eggs!
