Stuart's Hair

Stuart has been growing out his hair for sometime now.

I think this is the longest it has ever been. He decided it was looking a little bit unprofessional. So, we decided to cut it. We just had to have some pictures of his long flowing locks.

Harlem Globetrotters!!!

This is a fun story. One Monday I was going to work and I was listening to the radio. They had Harlom Globetrotter tickets for free if you were the 20th caller. I thought it would be fun to go, so I called.
And guess what?!?! I WON! Yes, it's amazing! It was for that night, and I had 4 tickets. So, we took Nicole and Jeremy. It was a BLAST! The tickets usually sold for $87 each.

Heidi and Sesaly

Obviously my house isn't very exciting. These are some very sleepy girls.

Annaka

Here is Annaka all ready for her first dance. She borrowed my dress and I got to do her hair and makeup. She looked very beautiful!

Here's Sesaly and Celeste playing a little Sudoku.

2008!!!

Here we are celebrating

2008!! Who belongs to the mystery fingers?

The Bytheways

Here is a cute picture of Sesaly when she thought it would be nice to be nearly naked and wear Uncle Stuart's socks. We all thought it was very fashionable. And here's a cute picture of Whit and Paul

I realize we haven't updated our blog since Halloween. I'm just so busy being really cool. Since everyone else was updating their blog, I was going to update mine. But... my camera is in Stuart's car with all my pictures on it. :( So, instead you are reading this stupid little paragraph about my excuses. Since I feel so badly about not having pictures, I decided to draw a little something for everyone. It's me and Stuart. I hope you all enjoy it. I do have some (real) pictures to put on. So, hold tight... they are coming! Anyways, we hope everyone is doing well, and we are sorry we don't have more cool pictures to put on today.

Halloween 2007!

This first picture is of our very first trick-or-treater in our house! What a cute little kangaroo! We had a fun Halloween party on the 31st. We had a great time and most everyone dressed up. We had yummy soup in 'pumpkin' bread bowls and lots of treats!

Here we are for Halloween. Stuart was a Hawaiian Woman... Celeste was a cowgirl (thanks to Helen's chaps!) and yes, we have yet another sighting of the illusive M-Elvis!!!

Here are the Heaton's. Blake was a 'sexy' pirate, Lauryn was a ball-park go-er and little Jaq was the cutest little hot dog. Blake got a little bit snacky. :)

This is the Bytheway family. Whitney didn't dress up... or did she?!? Paul was a cowboy on a bucking bull... and Sesaly was an adorable little kangaroo!

This is Mom's impromptu costume.... yes, she is a tacky maiden!!! How did you guess? Was it the lipstick on her lips? If she had shown up on my doorstep like this, I would be scared!

Here's Annie, Mom and Dad ... Mom and Dad's costumes left something to be desired!! Dad does have a pony tail hat on... in case you can't tell.

This is Annie for Halloween. Very sexy for 16 years old!

Swimming!

Stuart, Blake, Lauryn, Paul, Whitney, Sesaly and I all went swimming at the Aquatic Center here in Logan on Satuday. We had a ton of fun!

Here are a few more photos of swimming last Saturday!

Countertops!

Here are the photos of our countertops! They are all installed now and look great! We are so happy with how good they turned out. Stuart did such an amazing job at measuring and installing them! Now we will stain them with an acid stain and then varnish them with a food-safe clear coat.

More counter top photos.

Here is our rail that was put in this week also. It looks kind of strange, because we were in the process of staining it.

The bottom caps will be against the wood on the spindels. Stuart is showing us how fun it is to do sweat-equity in your home! :)
