Cache County Fair!

We took a few trips down to the Cache County Fair a few weeks back, it was lots of fun!  Ali liked seeing the animals, if she got to stay in her stroller.

Heidi, Grandma and Annaka joined us!

Cheesing it up at the Rodeo.  Ali was actually really funny at the rodeo, everytime other people clapped she would clap right along with them.  I'm not even sure she realized what was going on, but if everyone else is happy, then so is she!

Sesaly and Howie on the train... I couldn't bring myself to pay $3 for a ride at the fair... and I'm glad I didn't purchase any tokens, because I'm pretty sure it will be YEARS before Ali is actually tall enough to ride on any of them!

Gum

Somehow Ali smuggled some gum into her crib.  This is what I found in the morning.  She had chewed up a piece and it was stuck in her hair by her ear.  It was early and I didn't know what to do with it, so I gave her a bottle and put her back to bed like I usually do.  I thought she went back to sleep, but aparently she just chewed up the rest of her gum that was hidden somewhere in her crib and got MORE gum stuck in her bangs.  After some help from facebook friends and a google search, we grabbed some olive oil and it came right out!  I was amazed and very thankful that I didn't have to chop it out of her hair!

Future Career Possiblity

Ali just might become a dentist!  Although I'm not sure how much return business she will get.  If she's lucky her hands will stay nice and tiny and she won't even have to use tools! :)

New Obsession

Ali is obsessed with Morty.  I can't keep her away from him.  Thank goodness he's such an amazing dog!  She pokes and kisses him ALL DAY LONG!

She loves to 'help' him chew his bone.  She just wants to hold it for him while he chews.  he is so careful not to get her fingers.

Morty makes it look so good that she has to try it for herself.  Yes, I'm a bad mom that grabbed the camera before taking the bone out of my daughter's mouth. :)

Morty sometimes needs a little break, but Ali always finds him!  I don't have any pictures but she has also been into his food/water lately.  I kept trying to stop her from eating his food, but then yesterday I decided to just let her eat a piece and see if she changed her own mind.  She crunched into a piece and realized why people don't eat dog food. :)  Now she just throws it.  She also likes to 'drink' out of his water dish with her mouth.  I'll find her back there on her hands and knees.  So gross.  I guess I should be happy she almost made it to 2 yrs old without getting into it, but still.... it's disgusting!

Camping

We went camping at Bear Lake with the Bytheway family for the 24th of July!  They were kind enough to let us sleep in their fancy new trailer.  We had so much fun!

Haircut?

This poor girl can't see a thing if her hair isn't done.  Her hair insists on hanging forward, right in her face.  I really don't want to cut bangs for her, I'm hoping this is just an awkward stage.  I guess time will tell!

Typical girl, sucking in her stomach for the photo! :)  Our little family went to the special-needs swim at the Aquatic Center in Logan.  Every Saturday from 9-11:30 a.m. they let special needs kids/families swim for free!  We had a blast!

Muscles

Yes, she moved that table all by herself.... and yes, it's time to baby-proof the house!

Sharing

Ali gets to start taking gymnastics as part of her physical therapy.  So, I had to pull out my old dance clothes. :)  Ali is 21 months in her picture and I am 3 yrs old in mine.  I am so happy to have a daughter to share my stuff with! :)

P.S. My poor computer died and I just got my new one today, so there will be some catching up to do on this blog!

Thanks Grandpa Cutler!

Ali's Grandpa Cutler made this little chair for her way back before she was even born. :)  It's now Ali's favorite toy!  She can't get in it by herself yet, but once I put her in she feels pretty darn cool.  She loves it and will sit in it forever!  Thanks Grandpa Cutler! We love you!!!

Rollin'...Rollin'...Rollin'

Ali is a little mover these days, she rocks her body back and forth in her high chair and it rolls forward.

She made it over to the counter today and helped herself to my purse!

Baby Trough

Yup, I can't stop my baby from drinking the bath water.  I feel as though I should just have a bucket of water available for her all day long.  It's so gross and she thinks it's funny when I tell her to stop.  Perhaps we will sell this idea as a new body cleanse. :)  (At least it's not lake water... more on that later!)

4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!!!  Ali had a blast this 4th!

She shared a popsicle with Mom,

and ate plenty of other food.

Daddy did fireworks,

and Ali got a glowstick!

This can is empty... but she sure loved pretending to drink it! (Although if I'm teaching her right, it should be Diet Coke, not Dr Pepper)

No baby swing at the park?  No problem, just stick your kid on your shoulders... seems safe, right?!  Ali thought it was great!

Getting ready for the fireworks!  Ali really enjoyed the fireworks, she wasn't at all afraid.  She would make a little 'oooh' face as she watched!

Standing!

Look at who can stand by herself for about 3 seconds!

Of course, the most fun part is falling into Dad at the end!

This is the face she makes!

Such a big girl! :)
