RSV

Ali and I just got home from a 'fun' 2 night stay at the hospital.  On Tuesday Ali slept the entire day and wouldn't eat or drink, so I called my Dad (he's a DR) and he said to take her into the ER to get an IV and test for RSV.  So, in we went... this first picture is Ali and me waiting for the RSV test results.

The RSV test came back positive, and Ali's oxygen levels were low, so we were admitted into the hospital.  The exact same tiny, odd-shaped room we were in almost exactally 2 years ago.  I think Ali's face sums up how we were all feeling at this point.

Stuart was great and took over for me on Wednesday so I could come home and sleep for a bit and not go completely crazy.  He was able to take his laptop in and work from the hospital, being self-employed does have some benefits!  Also, thank goodness for an Ipad.

Grandma Cutler and Aunts Heidi and Annaka stopped by and brought some entertainment.  Thanks guys!

In my opinion, this is the only good thing about being in the hospital (although I am thankful for modern medicine and the fact that we have hospitals and doctors).  These mugs are awesome though!

We got a 'hall-pass' and took Ali on a little wheel-chair ride through the hospital.  She loved it and would giggle like crazy.

Mom and Ali having their second sleepover.

Now we are home (with oxygen).  It's so great to be back!

Sick Little Girl

Ali is sick.  Fever, cough, stuffy nose, you name it.

We are just relaxing today and taking it easy.  We went to the Instacare last night and got her checked out, she had to get chest x-rays and ended up coming home with an inhaler.  They wanted her to cry during her chest x-rays so that she would take big breaths, but it took awhile because this is one plesant litte kid-o!

She loves to use the mask part of her inhaler.

She likes to pretend to do it herself.

Silly little girl!

Stand Bombing

Ali is quite the stander these days!  We call it 'stand bombing' because you just turn around and there she is standing up!  The first time she did this was Christmas day.  She does it all the time now!  At first it would startle me a bit.  It's so cute and fun (unless she is in her high-chair and trying to stand).  Her balance is amazing and she will even play standing up now.  I keep thinking she's going to start walking any day now!

Favorite Magazine

Papa Whitney and her girls gave Ali a subscription to the 'Friend' magazine for her birthday last year.  She loves flipping through it, and sometimes even eats parts of it!

Today Aliyah and I aren't going to church due to Ali's bad cough, it was a rough night.  But she's still getting a little bit of church in anyways! :)

Valentine's Day!

Stuart brought home a dozen roses for Aliyah! (I got a dozen also!)

Ali got waffles with whipped cream and valentine's sprinkles for dinner!

Grandma Cutler gave her this sugar cookie with LOTS of frosting... I may or may not have scraped a bunch off before giving it to her! :)

She had fun with it though....

Then decided to share the rest with Morty!

Cupid paid Ali a visit and left some fun stuff!

The card she got sings, "Kung Fu Fighting" and has  kitten on it.  She loves it!

I am getting tired of  having "Kung Fu Fighting" stuck in my head, but her cute dancing makes it worth while!

Helping Daddy

We were inspired by Michael and Sherry's (Stu's brother and sister-in-law) baby gate when we were at their house the other day and decided to make ours a little bit sturdier.  Ali, of course, was a great help!

She has her own little tool set to help Daddy with repairs.

She really, really wanted her pliers to stick to the wood.  She's pushing with all her might right here!

Ali placed this bow all by herself.

She even matched the color of her outfit!

Yay for Ali!

Mexico!

We went to Cancun Mexico back in January!  It was a blast!!!  These posts are kind of backwards, but I just needed to get them on here!  Ali fell asleep in the airport, poor baby!

Dad and Karen!

Whit and her girls.... this was on the way home and by the time we got to SLC, every single one of Whit's kids had barfed.  Apparently they got whatever it was that I (and Stu and Karen and Dad) had in Mexico.  Barf does not equal a fun flight.

Our little family!

Ali did a lot of reading on the plane.

This is the cute little dress that Ali got in Mexico, maybe one day it will be warm enough for her to wear it here in Utah!

Ali loved Mexico!  We all LOVED MEXICO!!!

Mexico

Paul slipped on some rocks and cut his hand open... he was the first of all of us to see the inside of a Mexican hospital.

The guy who took this picture said, "I got you framed in very nicely".  I find it funny that Hadley is only a head :)

Paul showing us how he got his hand cut.

Whit and her cute girls!

Oh, Ali... so much sand was eaten on this vacation!

Relaxing in our rooms

Ali didn't like crawling on the marble floors, so she got creative!

Baby knuckles!

And we wonder how she got pregnant!

We paid to get some braids in Ali's hair!

She loved them!

Lots of Love in Mexico!
